The fit of these Troy Lees is fantastic – so close through the body and hips that they’re almost like traditional cycling shorts but with the kinder lines of a pair of baggies.
The high-backed waist sits securely in place for good coverage and there’s enough stretch from the rear yoke panel and the main body fabric to give complete freedom of movement.
The fabric feels durable on the outside, yet the grid pattern on the inside is easy on the skin and wicks well. We always like to see a mesh liner – they’re cooler and lighter than those made from thicker fabrics – and, as with the outer shell, this one is well made, with flatlock seams. The pad is on the basic side but flexible enough that it shapes well.
A word about dirt and neon yellow though – it’s hard to get out.
