Constructed from lightweight four-way stretch material, the Madison Flux shorts are perfect for smashing out some summer miles.
The tailoring through the hips and waist means you get a well-fitting short that’s not overly baggy but not too tight either. There are two Velcro tabs at the waist to get the fit just right and silicone print on the inside of the waistband to keep them in place.
The 14in inseam on the medium size meant the leg length came up a little long on our shorter testers, but was perfect on riders over 6ft. There’s ample room for pads, triple stitching in critical areas should ensure longevity and we love the laser-cut holes at the hip and back, which aid airflow.
The two zipped hand pockets keep styling casual but functional, and there are two extra stretch pockets, which are handy for stashing smaller bits. We’re big fans of the Flux’ styling and detail considering the price, but it’s worth noting that there are no liner shorts included.
