The splash-proof, easy-clean Repel fabric is light, quick-drying and mobile, but the cut is basic and the shorts are prone to bunching, even around the seamless crotch. We also found that the outer flaps and rides up on downhill sections.
The Coolmax material liner helps to keep your legs dry, but the basic unshaped pad feels very lumpy and broad, and after a few rides it's still like a big nappy. The price isn't low enough to compensate fully either.
