The Indy SS (short sleeve) jersey offers a relaxed T-shirt look, but proved to deliver all the performance needed for all-day trail jaunts backed by a backpack. Made from a cool-touch, quick-dry and sun-protected material, the Indy is ideal for even the hottest days.
Fitting like a beloved old tee, Race Face's Indy manages to fit loosely without being overly baggy or flapping in the wind. Sizing wise, we found our sample true to what we’d expect of the equivalent T-shirt size.
The material and its flat-lock stitching never chafe, even on stinking-hot days with a loaded pack, while a subtle dropped back adds a little privacy from those with a rear-view.
There's a spot to wipe your glasses too
Its casual styling hides a small zippered stash pocket on the left hip that doubles as a goggle/glass wipe from the inside. The pocket is great to hold keys or a gel, but proved too small for a phone. Additionally, the zipper pull-tab can be little small and slippery with gloves on.
The mostly dark fabric designs mean there are no problems just chucking it in the wash with other muddy clothes – which was great for us, as it meant we could wear it again sooner.
