Billed as a 'fitted thermal jersey for cold weather mountain biking', the Fox Regulator jersey uses a full polyester construction complete with Scotchguard treatment.
Specially designed for active sport, this helps draw moisture to the outside of the garment as well as helping make most stains wash out easier. The material is like a miniature version of the Sugoi Cubix, and works to wick sweat just as fast.
The Regulator claims a fitted cut, but our medium sample was still pretty boxy; that said we didn't mind as it made it wearable to the gym or pub as well as on the bike. The full zip gives an added dimension and versatility and the triple rear pockets are the biggest on any jersey tested, although the wide, gappy, openings of the outer two also made them the least secure. But props must go to Fox, for adding not one, but two small, zip stash pockets on the outer two pockets.
