Particularly good choice of gilet if you regularly carry a backpack

Endura's Laser gilet is another good quality, straightforward product from this Scotland-based company.

Lightweight and foldable down to pocket size, it has a few clever design touches. The rear has a very large mesh area, stopping you getting overly sweaty if you’re carrying a backpack.

And not only does it have reﬂective patches front and rear and reﬂective piping on the zip, it also has a small hanger loop for your LED light. If black’s not your thing, two brighter colours are also available.
