High end, high performance gilet Buy if, A versatile and highly functional gilet that works well from year round

Pros:

Windproof, DWR coating, breathable

Cons:

It doesn’t come cheap

Gore’s Oxygen WS (Windstopper) AS (Active Shell) Light gilet offers good protection when it comes to cooler damper conditions.

It’s cut using a three-layer fabric featuring a windproof breathable membrane that’s sandwiched between an inner backing and a robust outer that has been given a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating.

This does a top job of keeping the wind out and will see you through a shower, which makes it the ideal partner to a long sleeve jersey during autumn and on milder winter rides.

With the fabric breathing so well there’s no need for mesh panels. The drop tail offers good protection especially from road spray.

It fits to true to size with a racer's cut and packs small enough to stuff into a jersey pocket, making it a versatile little number.

There’s one small pocket that’s big enough for a phone, keys and cash, and reflective detailing helps keep you visible.
