Our review
A perfectly functional and breathable layer for spring riding

Sugoi’s HydroLite jacket doesn’t do anything particularly outstanding but it does everything that it needs to well. It’s neither the lightest nor the smallest when it’s packed down into a jersey pocket, but it’s not far off the jackets that are.

A small tail keeps some road spray at bay at the bottom and a decent collar keeps draughts out at the top. The fit on our large size is generous enough to be baggy on slimmer riders looking for length in the sleeves and body.

Mesh panels on the armpits provide ventilation and the rest of the jacket keeps you from feeling all but the chilliest breezes.
