The shape is good – roomy but not overly so, with plenty of space for manoeuvre in the shoulders. Although the back is straight cut rather than obviously longer, it is long enough on the bike.
The two-layer fabric is about as breathable as we’d expect at this cost, but because it has a mesh lining, the waterproof coating is protected and it does help wick sweat and keep you more comfortable when you get warm. It works because it’s a straightforward construction – at a not-too-out-there price.
