The Tungsten is a fitted trail jacket which is easily sealed with adjustable Velcro cuffs and one-hand pull cords on both the hem and neck, although there’s no fleece lining.
It’s made from Hydrovent Active waterproof and breathable material, which might get clammy if it weren’t for the mesh lining and pit zips. Fortunately this lining doesn’t add as much bulk as some and the outer Hydrovent takes care of rain duties.
The two side pockets are sensibly positioned so you can get to them with a pack on and the large rear zip pocket is large enough for a map. All the zips are sealed to keep the rain at bay and there’s also a draft flap on the main front one.
