This light-ish weight, close-fitting jacket proved to be fully waterproof thanks to the neatly applied internal seam taping, with the elasticated hem, Velcro cuffs and high collar also doing a good job of keeping moisture out.
The Flash isn’t made from the most breathable material, the inner surface having a slightly rubbery feel that can get a little clammy, though the large mesh rear pocket doubles as a vent for when things get hot. What the Flash is most striking for is its near blindness-inducing brightness: its reflectives exceed European safety standards. One for the night riders.
