If you want a year-round windproof emergency jacket look no further

The Xenon 2.0 AS is made from Gore's windproof and water-resistant Windstopper Active Shell fabric and has a mesh lining on the sleeves and two vertical back panels. Its thin Neoprene cuffs are supremely comfortable, fitting flush to banish draughts and not foul gloves.

The nylon zip has garages both top and bottom, with an additional leathery grip section to hold when unzipping. A cut out section at the back means the tall collar stays snug, and the jacket easily packs into its zipped rear pocket. A perfect bike cut and those linings make it wonderfully cosy, with no billowing in the wind, and for an unventilated jacket it’s impressively breathable. You may find it too warm for summer, though.
