The Teknik is Fox’s all-singing, all-dancing heavy-duty waterproof jacket. It features a storm hood, fully-taped seams and a host of other tidy features.
The jacket is well weatherproofed and its full-length zip is covered by a magnetic flap that traps warm air in and keeps the wet out. Pit zips allow adequate venting, keeping things comfortable when you’re riding hard.
With bare arms underneath, the Teknik can be uncomfortable and clammy due to the slightly rubberised feel of the inside, but it makes an effective storm repeller when combined with winter layers.
The cut is on the looser side, making it ideal on or off the bike, and the shoulders are made of reinforced fabric for added durability. The Teknik also features a breast pocket to hold your MP3 player, complete with window and cable routing.
