The Air Defence is a cosy winter warmer with its soft, fleecy lining. This breathable windproof soft shell provides great insulation on cold days and if you get too warm there are waterproof pit zips.
The high collar and elastic hem keep any chills out while the cuffs aren’t too tight-fitting to allow for winter gloves. The arms are not as long as some in the riding position but if you have high gloves this shouldn’t be a problem.
The cut is fitted and perfect for riding trails and all day in the saddle with no annoying flapping. On the rear is large zipped map pocket with a smaller deep pocket perfect for a pump, although if can be fiddly to get small items out of on the fly. There’s also a front phone pocket and rear LED hanger. It will keep you warm and dry in a shower but will get damp and heavy if the weather turns nasty.
