The Fuseline is one instant hit of cosy, with a skin-facing side that’s reassuringly plush and warm on chilly mornings. It’s substantial enough to wear alone on autumn days, but as the weather turns colder the smooth outer surface allows you to layer up easily.
We like this type of fabric a lot for cycling – it’s good to feel warm enough as you head out the door rather than start cold, so long as it wicks well once you start to heat up. And this one does. It never gets swampy, and doesn’t take long to dry.
As the design isn’t cycling specific the sleeves do come up a bit short on the bike and there isn’t as much coverage at the back as we would ideally like, but it’s not such a problem that it becomes a deal-breaker.
It also makes it a natural all-purpose winter top that works post-ride and across other activities too – it even looks fine with jeans. That only adds to the value of this already pretty cheap top.
The quality isn’t outstanding – but it’s a high-value top and even available in enough colours to coordinate with just about any bike.
