This is a jacket that we’ve shamelessly borrowed from another outdoor sector. But while it might not be mountain bike specific, it’s the coat that we’ve found ourselves wearing a lot now the first snap of cold has hit.
It’s ideal for the stop/start of social rides and while we started with it in our pack (it’s light and squashes small enough) intending to pull it on when we stopped and then stow it again for riding, we actually didn’t bother taking it off again.
It dips low enough at the back hem for active riding and you can cinch in the hood and the waist for best snuggly fit. There’s a place in everyone’s wardrobe for the Mount Asgard Hybrid II and there’s not really much about it that we would change.
