Beautifully executed breathable waterproof but bulkier than some race specific jackets Buy if, You want top weather protection and great breathability in a classy package

Pros:

Keeps you dry inside and out, stretchy soft fabric, rear pockets, well made

Cons:

Not as light or small packing as some, price

Ashmei’s chic looking Waterproof uses a thin (7 microns) soft to touch fabric that offers more stretch than most.

This delivers a waterproof rating of 20,000mm and element defence is further aided by taped seams, waterproof front zip with draft flap and good sealing around the hem, collar and cuffs.

Ashmei has matched this with an impressive breathability figure of 45,000gm.m2/24hrs. Figures aside, this jacket delivers top level performance keeping you dry inside and out, even working hard.

Unlike most, this jacket features three jersey style rear pockets with drainage holes that make life easy, especially on longer winter rides. There’s also a waterproof zip pocket and subtle reflective stripe.

It has a race fit and while mine was a little tight on the shoulders this went unnoticed on the bike thanks to the super stretchy fabric. Mortals may need to size up though.

This is a classy and highly functional rain jacket that comes with a price to match.
