The thick Windstopper front panelling on this new Adidas gilet makes it ideal for colder rides, but it can get warm otherwise.
That material does keep out the rain and wind exceptionally well though, and the cut at the rear is just the right shape and length to stop unwanted moisture getting into your shorts.
There are three handy pockets at the front but the slightly baggy cut does mean that, once loaded, they can make the Terrex hang a bit further off the body when you’re seated.
It’s pretty expensive but we reckon it’d be more comfortable once winter and, with it, multi-layering arrive.
