The faux suede palm of the Endura Mighty Mitt has two pads double-stitched to it: one over the ulnar nerve, one at the base of the fingers. Both use a layer of neoprene, which although thin compresses like rubber and doesn't just bottom out instantly and transfer road shock.
The ulnar pad has a rubberised surface while the one across the base of the fingers is dotted with silicone. Combined with the thin palm, grip is good. The thumb arch is reinforced, and there's a polyester fleece section across the back of the hand near the thumb for nose wiping. Fit is snug, especially at the long cuff, but the Velcro strap and a pull tag here make removal easy. The Endura logo across the knuckles is reflective, which aids night time visibility.
