We found these mitts really comfortable, even on all-day rides. You get a medium amount of gel foam padding – a healthy proportion of it protecting the nerves under the centre and heel of your hand – and we didn’t suffer from any numbness as we racked up the miles.
Mesh knuckles and fingers let cool air in, while the microfleece wipe section on the back of the thumb works well and finger loops help you get them off.
Our only gripe is that the Velcro hooks have a tendency to snag the Lycra panel on the back unless you’re careful. The mitts are available in red, blue and graphite.
