The 27 generously sized vents allow effective cooling and give this boxy but swoopy helmet an airy look. It’s respectably light, but with a nod to durability thanks to minimal exposed EPS foam.
Good internal depth makes it feel like your head is in it, rather than the helmet resting on top of your head. The low-slung Powerfit retention strap sits below the occipital lobe to hold it in place and reduce the work straps to mere tethers.
Add in some very effective removable pads in pink (silver ones also in the box) and the deal is sealed for us.
