Light fit for round heads, but average ventilation is offset by sweaty pads and strange cradle

Uvex's Boss Race is light and okay for cooler, rounder heads, but sweaty and wobbly otherwise. It’s an impressively low weight and the sculpted ribs give it a top-end look at a medium price.

The mid-sized vents aren’t tapered, so air influx is good. Shallow duct channels and exhaust vents mean ventilation doesn’t significantly improve as speed increases, though.

Fit is rounded and the zip-tie style buckle means easy fine-tuning on the fly. You can remove the chin pad if it catches your Adam’s apple.

The helmet rocks from side to side on squarer heads unless the narrow dial-adjusted cradle is tight across your occipital lobe at the rear of the scull.
