The synergis is noticeably light, and the weight combined with the deep vents makes it a distinctly less sweaty option for long days out and enduro events. The shape is more rounded than racing-sleek but it seems to emphasise the secure fit and you won’t be aware of the helmet at the edges of your sight line.
Adjustment is done via the familiar two-handed slide system, and if we have any criticism it’s that the inner surface of the rear sliding tabs is too glassily smooth – some grip would add the final touch of security. Overall though, the quiet looks, straightforward fit and comfortable ride make this an easy helmet to wear – if you usually suffer helmet-fatigue put it on your look-at list.
