If you have the right shaped head this lid is light and functional

This is the women's version of the pro-level lid claimed to be the lightest CPSC-certified helmet in the world.

It has a long and narrow fit, so if you have a rounder head you may have issues with pressure points. But at 227g and with good ventilation it’s light and airy.

The retention system is adjusted by pushing together or pulling apart two tabs, but their shape does make them hard to tighten single-handed.

On the plus side, its lightweight straps sit away from the helmet allowing glasses to comfortably sit under them. It meets the full array of safety standards too.
