The Lazer Clash uses the Rollsys fit system, which puts a one-handed barrel adjustment on top of the helmet rather than at the back. It was quick and easy to use – there is a feeling of it pulling ‘up and in’ rather than round your head – but combined with the deep rear shell, it gives a snug protected feel.
The attachment position of the straps that come through the back cradle adds to the secure feel and the straps themselves are less ‘in your face’ than some. The feel through the crown is airy and the vents are plentiful and work well. The Clash may not incorporate sexy graphics but for the money it offers a well-protected feel with well thought-through features.
