There was some bemusement when this product arrived at the BikeRadar office, with not everybody convinced of the need for a helmet lock.
But a quick look over the bike racks at Bath Spa station shows there are a lot of cyclists who lock their helmets to their bikes, so maybe there’s a case for this.
It’s a simple design: a vinyl-covered wire cable looped through a zinc-plated steel bolt. To use it, push the loop up through a vent in your helmet (small enough that the bolt can’t be manoeuvred through), then your bike lock goes through the loop, and the bolt stops the helmet being removed.
