Giro Indicator review

Giro Indicator review

For a helmet at this price, it's amazing what the Indicator has to offer in terms of looks, style and function. It certainly looks like it should cost a whole lot more and, fortunately, it's not all looks and no trousers.

Our review
With Giro's technologies, the Indicator punches well above its price point

For a helmet at this price, it's amazing what the Indicator has to offer in terms of looks, style and function. It certainly looks like it should cost a whole lot more and, fortunately, it's not all looks and no trousers - it also offers great protection and airflow through 20 vents.

The fit is good, using Giro's Acu Dial twist wheel to adjust it to your head. While this is easy enough to use, factory fresh helmets can be a little sticky to adjust. With this lid, one size fits all in the 54-61cm range so there's little worry about buying the wrong size. It comes with a snap-fit visor that can be removed if you prefer the racer look. With the Indicator tipping the scales at 276g it's a winner al round, feeling light and comfortable to wear.
