These elbow guards from Fox follow on from their successful Launch Pro kneepads and are every bit as comfortable. Protection comes courtesy of a hard shell cup wrapped in perforated Neoprene with additional foam padding on either side.
The fully enclosed, sleeve-like fit coupled with the double Velcro strap at each end means they stayed put while we were riding – and crashing! The ergonomic design enabled them to articulate well when we were moving the bike around and they didn’t hinder movement at all. We'd like to see an extended version that offers more forearm protection though.
