The in-mould construction of the Titan gives it a smooth finish and overall quality feel that’s underlined by the Coolmax lining and optional bug-catcher mesh inner panel. The wicking ability of that Coolmax lining does mean that despite being a shallower fit than other helmets on test, it didn’t ever feel soggy inside, and with deep vents that dip low at the front, there’s good flow of air too.
Adjustment is done via a wire-and-dial combo at the rear – it does its job but not quite as neatly and easily as it could, and we’d prefer a more positive ‘lock’ into position. The relatively low profile means that you are aware you’re wearing Titan, but it does also offer a lot of protection for the weight.
