Practical, fun early season warmth

Looking for the psychological edge over your rivals in the early season? Eager to stand out in the concrete jungle? Like custom tattooing but not time at the tattooist? Or just tired of staid designs and wanting something with a bit of attitude?

Then these might be for you. Made from an unremarkable polyester/Lycra mix, the medium felt just right, (although fractionally shorter in length than many I've used) managing to fit snugly without encroaching or unravelling.

Whether on the open road or trickling through town, on the fixie or on my mountain bike away from the madding crowd, I quickly enjoyed the double takes from passers by - and maybe it's my imagination but I swear overtaking SUV drivers these gave me an extra foot or so!

They have been thrown in the wash (at a cautious 30 degrees) without problem, although stains show compared with more conservative designs.

Presently available from the US (Primal Wear Europe will be opening in the Netherlands very shortly) means further exclusivity but with the downside of slightly longer waiting times. However, at approximately £17 they are still good value, although some might prefer the extra warmth of the more technical fabrics available now.
