The M1 is simple to use: just wrap the included sensor belt around your chest, slightly wet the conductors and you’re good to go. An easy button press menu guides you in two clicks to the HR mode, where within a couple of seconds your heart rate is displayed.
The monitor also shows you heart rate zones, to help efficient training, and records a log of your activity. The rubber watch strap is comfy, although does get quite sweaty, which led to us wrapping the watch round the bar while out riding.
The watch is easily passable as a trendy piece of wristwear come the pub post-ride too.
