Presented in a useful small toolbox including most essential tools, the Ice Toolz Torx keys and ball-ended hex keys are good quality.
A 1/2in drive is fixed rather than ratcheted, comprising a flattened tube rather than a casting, but its 11in length is useful. The bottom bracket and cassette lockring tools fitted the drive, but not the external cup tool – a surface coating had decreased the hole by 0.5mm.
It also has flats for a large spanner, but only a 6in adjustable is included. Alongside a combination spoke wrench and basic tyre levers are good cable cutters, a grippy pedal spanner and large chain tool for 7- to 10-speed chains with replaceable pin.
A tape measure and cleaning brush are handy extras in a generally decent kit.
