This 'valve method' is generally preferable to the 'sidewall method' because it allows easier tyre seating. Being runny, it didn't cause noticeable wheel wobble. It's biodegradable and OK for cold weather use.
It needs topping up regularly, however, and the lack of 'micro particles' meant it wasn't great at sealing holes of 1mm-plus. The JRA tubeless manual only comes with full tubeless kits though, and latex can cause allergic reactions.
