Buying guards as a set is a good idea if you know that you're going to need full-on protection.
But if the front one is a fork crown fitting, do make sure it both fits your particular fork and has enough clearance for the fork to work. Rather embarrassingly, we came over all 'new kid in class' with this one and snapped it right off the bike by not doing just that. Once you've checked that out, it's easy to fit but we found taking the guard on and off more difficult- and it becomes especially fiddly if you get any grit in the fitting, so we'd be inclined to leave it on. Once clamped on, the rear dual compound rear guard can be adjusted to suit your particular racing sweep, but it was a little shorter than we'd have liked.
