DX lights led the Chinese lantern revolution, and the One23 version comes with full big distributor/local bike shop backup, a UK charger and a helmet mount at a killer price.
The single Cree LED uses a simple reflector and plain lens, which means the same centre punch and outer ring ‘roundel’ effect as similar lights. It’s less obvious on the trail though, and it gives more technical riding confidence than other sub-£100 lights.
The Lupine style O-ring mount is simple but effective, there are two power levels plus a flashing mode and the relatively small bag battery still gives a massive run time of four hours and 25 minutes.
The reliability of DX lights has got progressively better in recent years and it comes with local shop convenience as well as big distributor backup at a bargain price.
