Exposure's single can design is far tidier than separate battery lamps, and at 244g it’s very light for its power too. Two Cree XPG LEDs are arranged to give either a long-reaching spot beam for fast, confident riding even on the darkest, dirtiest roads, or a letterbox-shaped dipped beam.
Selection is via the push button on the lamp or a plug-in remote handlebar switch. The lamp button also doubles as the mode indicator and battery life indicator for the three-hour-plus full power run time. Plug-in battery packs and rear lights are also available.
The neat metal quick-release clamp stays on the bars for convenience, and it comes with a two-year no-quibble warranty and excellent back-up from the UK manufacturers. The only potential problem (besides affording it) is that the clamp only fits standard circular bars in 25.4 and 31.8mm diameters.
