Our review
Striking a balance between power and visibility, this is the value-for-money choice

Just over half the price of the Exposure Joystick Maxx and yet offering plenty enough light to ride, in typical Cateye fashion, the EL610 is also excellent when it comes to being visible to other road users.

It's not too bright head-on, but bright enough even at 90 degree viewing angles. The two 1-watt LEDs do a good job of lighting up the road. It's more than enough to ride safely with, and with a run time of just under four hours on full power (that's nearly an hour more than claimed) this is the ideal light for commuting and training duties. No tools are needed to install the clamp and the light simply clips on and off for charging and storage. This is a well balanced and well thought out light.
