One BikeRadar tester has toured continents using Vaude panniers, and after six years they’re still going strong. These 48 litre (total) waterproof rear panniers seem to be just as tough, and months of daily use have left them virtually unscathed and the contents bone dry.
They’re universal – they’re symmetrical and can go on either side of your bike – with a roll-top closure to keep the rain out.
Unlike some other Vaude models, there are no outside pockets, but one on the inside. This may be inconvenient, but it’s definitely safer.
