You get a whopping 41L capacity, most of it in one main compartment, although six pouch pockets enable you to keep your essentials where you can find them.
There’s no back padding but the removable shoulder pad is very comfy, even with heavy loads aboard, while an additional chest strap adds control.
The 1000 D nylon shell is durable and although not totally waterproof, it keeps out all but the most persistent rain. The loop for tucking away excess strap is handy but it’s a shame there’s no LED housing or reflective trim.
