The Roadsign pack has been a signature Howies product for years, the ‘Keep right’ reflective arrow being a logo, a statement of your place in the road and a practical aid to motorists in one.
It’s not a big pack, nor a waterproof one, but it carried everything the test asked, with the laptop loose in the main compartment. The outer pouch has smaller pockets with locations for a pump, multitool, wallet and so on.
Mesh side pockets and an extra zip pouch on the left side and a bungee on the right add to its utility. The 100 per cent nylon material feels a bit thin, though we know of a few samples in their third or fourth season of use.
