Dating back to the 1950s, The Tour of Britain is the largest free-to-view sporting event in the UK. This year it looks to be bigger and better than ever, with eight days of racing spanning the country from Glasgow down to Dartmoor, with three stages in the South West of England and a finale in London.
For one cycle racing fan, BikeRadar has an amazing opportunity as we’ve teamed up with race organisers SweetSpot to offer a prize that money can’t buy. You have the chance to win a VIP hospitality place at the finish of every single stage of the 2016 Tour of Britain. Those stages are as follows:
- Stage 1, on Sunday 4 September, ends in Castle Douglas.
- Stage 2, on Monday 5 September, ends in Kendal.
- Stage 3, on Tuesday 6 September, ends in Tatton Park outside Knutsford.
- Stage 4, on Wednesday 7 September, ends at the Royal Welsh Showground at Builth Wells.
- Stage 5, on Thursday 8 September, ends in Bath.
- Stage 6, on Friday 9 September, ends at Haytor in the Dartmoor National Park.
- Stages 7a and 7b are on Saturday 10 September in Bristol.
- The final stage is on Sunday 11 September and finishes in Regent Street St James just below Piccadilly Circus.
But that’s not all. As well as those coveted VIP places where you’ll get food, drink and great view of the finish line, you’ll also be treated to an in-car experience at the final stage.
