Registration for the sixth Wiggle Cheshire Cat, one of the UK’s biggest sportives, opens at 12pm on Tuesday (1 November). The event, which includes the legendary 1-in-4 Mow Cop climb on the longer routes, often fills out its 3,000 rider limit so those interested are encouraged to move fast.
Three route options are available: 45 miles (£22.50), 74 miles (£30) and 100 miles (£33). Riders depart from Crewe Alexandra Stadium, with the Mow Cop featuring surprisingly early on. They'll also tackle Gun Hill, famed for its inclusion in the Tour of Britain. For more information, visit the official website.
