In the ninth instalment of the Atherton Project, a fly-on-the-wall documentary following Gee, Dan and Rachel Atherton, Dan has to take time off the bike so hires a digger and does some jump building.
Dan says: “So After Bromont, came back to England and had my shoulder checked out and they couldn’t find anything wrong with it. Thankfully it wasn’t as bad as I’d first thought, so it was all about rehab.
“…I thought it would be a good idea to rent a digger.”
In Rachel’s preparation for her assault on the 2010 race season, she heads to the hills for a spot of bouldering.
Gee and Dan then head to Australia to ride at the World Championships, stopping at a surf comp on the way. Gee even fits in time for some downhill practice.
