Tadej Pogačar produced a dominant performance in the mountains through the 2024 Tour de France, winning five stages plus the final time trial on a lumpy course in Nice.

But which climbs from the 2024 Tour de France should you ride? In this episode of the BikeRadar Podcast, editor-in-chief George Scott is joined by Simon Warren, author of The 100 Greatest Climbs of the Tour de France, to pick out five top ascents from this year's race.

If there's anyone who knows a thing or two about climbing, it's Simon – prolific author of a series of books covering the world's best ascents, and an all-round climbing fanatic.

In the podcast, George and Simon take you on a tour of the Alps and Pyrenees, covering:

  • Col du Galibier – stage four
  • Pla d’Adet – stage 14
  • Plateau de Beille – stage 15
  • Cime de la Bonette – stage 19
  • Col du Turini – stage 20
