Alongside announcing the arrival of Brad Wiggins to the team on Thursday, Team Sky were also showing off their new Pinarello Dogmas to the media.
The black and blue machines are based on Pinarello's top of the range Dogma 60.1 frameset, built up using Shimano Dura-Ace components.
The Dogma frames are designed to be light (claimed weight of 1050g) and strong enough to withstand the demands of professional cycling. The Dogmas are built asymmetrically in order, Pinarello says, to help balance the forces between the drive and non-drive sides, which they claim makes the frames stronger.
