Downhill star Sam Hill has left the Iron Horse racing team.
The move comes a month after we revealed he would be riding for Specialized next year.
The two-time world champion, two-time junior world champion and 2007 World Cup champion spent six years with Team Monster Energy Iron Horse.
Hill thanked the team for their support, saying: “They believed in me before I had proven myself on the international circuit and helped me out right from the beginning.
"They've always delivered the tools I needed to perform at the highest level, including the Sunday downhill bike that's become an industry benchmark."
This year, Hill finished third overall in the World Cup and also came third in the World Championships in Val-di-Sole, Italy, after crashing in the last turn while ahead by over eight seconds.
At the recent Interbike show, we had a glimpse of what Hill is likely to be riding next year – a Specialized Demo with BlackBox Rock Shox Boxxer forks (with world champion stripes on the right leg), custom white Avid Elixir CR brakes and a Rock Shox Vivid rear shock.
