Rocky Mountain have launched two bikes designed specifically for enduro riding. Both are Rally Edition variants of the company's existing Altitude 750 and Altitude 770 MSL models.

Featuring bold component choices that are often reserved for aftermarket purchases, the race-ready new bikes could save the aspiring enduro racer a fair chunk of cash compared with upgrading a less suitable machine. Both bikes are slackened, with a 160mm fork that's 10mm longer than the one fitted to the regular Altitude models.

A single ring 10-speed SRAM transmission is standard fit, while an LG1 chainguide from e*thirteen adds security to the drivetrain. A 785mm, downhill spec handlebar has been fitted, along with stronger wheels and a remote dropper post. Both the X-Fusion 02 shock of the Altitude 750 and the Fox Float X unit of the Altitude 770 MSL have been tuned specifically with enduro racing in mind.

The part-carbon framed Altitude 770 MSL will set you back US$5,599, while the aluminium framed 750 retails for US$3,299. UK pricing is to be announced. For more information see the Rocky Mountain website.
