Victoria Pendleton’s range of retro-styled hybrid and children’s bikes has been joined by the brand’s first racing bike – the Pendleton Initial.

Designed to be a great value first road bike for women, the Initial features an alloy frame with Chromoly forks, a 16-speed Shimano Claris groupset, Tektro brakes and full-sized 700c wheels.

The geometry was designed by Pendleton to offer the best possible fit for female cyclists and comes in small and medium sizes. The bike, which weighs in at a claimed 11.5kg – expected at this price point – is on sale now for just £349 at Halfords.
