Pearl Izumi has launched a limited edition version of the X-Project Elite mountain bike shoe to support the Amy D. Foundation and its mission to empower young women through cycling.

The X-Project Elite mountain bike shoes feature carbon soles and Boa closure systems. The shoes were made in a limited run of 200 pairs.
They are available now and retail for $275 / £220 / AU$360 . Pearl Izumi will donate $100 from every pair sold to the Amy D. Foundation.
In addition to the limited edition shoes, Pearl Izumi also offers Amy D. jerseys, shorts and bibs to support the Amy D. Foundation.
The Amy D. Foundation was created to honor the memory of American cyclocross racer Amy Dombroski, who was struck and killed by a vehicle during a training ride in Belgium in 2013.
