Paul Cycling Components has released a new edition of its iconic one-speed hubset with boost axle spacing.

The California-based component manufacturer's products have been a staple on the singlespeed scene for more than two decades. Now, the iconic WORD hubset is available with a 110x15mm front hub and 148x12mm rear hub.

These new hubs bring the additional stiffness of wider bracing angles to this popular SS hubset. Just like the first WORD hub introduced back in 1996, Paul sticks with standard singlespeed BMX freewheel threading.

Paul offers its hubs in black, silver and polished silver.

The front hub has a claimed weight of 180g and retails for $167 in black and silver, and $173 for the polished version.

The rear hub has a claimed weight of 217g retails for $182 in black and silver, and $188 for the polished version.
